THE LEVINS

Oak-Woods to honor the
Levins, who have been out-
standing leaders in the Or-
thodox community for more
than three decades.
Mr. Levin is a past presi-
dent of what is now Cong.
Bnai Israel-Beth Yehudah.
A native of Poland, he ar-
rived in the U.S. in 1921 and
learned the baking trade.
He owned the Savoy Bak-
ery on Twelfth St.,for many
years.
He is now in the com-
mercial building business.
The Levins have four chil-
dren, Mrs. Paul C. (Lor-
raine), Kales, Harold, Yale,
and Mrs. Dennis (Karen)
Block; 13 grandchildren
and one great-grandchild.
A garden of trees in Is-
rael, to be planted through
the Jewish National Fund,
is planned in the Levins'
honor.

Brush St. Mr. Peven is a
founder of Adat ShalOm, a
member of the Ber-
eznitcher Landsmanschaft
and Pisgah Lodge of Bnai
Brith. He is retired from
the insurance business.
Mrs. Peven is a member
of Pioneer Women and both
are members of the Zionist
Organization of America.

ceremony at Cong. Beth
Abraham-Hillel.
The bride is the daughter
of Mrs. Joan Rappaorrand
Yale Gealer of Oak Park.
Parents of the bridegroom
are Mr. and Mrs. -Joseph
Duschinsky of Southfiled.
Matron of honor -was
Vicki Gealer. Bridesmaids
were Marcia and Carrie
Duschinsky, Rise - Gerber,
Wendy Vance and Fay Gea-
ler.

The couple is honey-
