JNF Stamps Sold
for High Holidays

With the approach of the
High Holidays the Jewish
National Fund has again
supplied the synagogues in
Michigan with special
stamps, to be given to all
ticket purchasers for the
Rosh Hashana and Yom
Kippur services.
The stamps are designed
to be attached to each tick-
et sold for the High Holy
Day Services, giving an op-
portunity for each worshi-
per to participate in the re-
demption and reclamation
of the land of Israel, by des-
ignating a voluntary contri-
bution to the cause of Geu-
lat Ha Aretz, the JNF pro-
gram of land reclamation
and development.
In appealing to the syna
gogue leaders for their coop-
eration in promoting the
stamps among their mem-
bership, Phillip Stollman,
chairman of the JNF reli-
gious groups committee,
stated:
"The stamps symbolize
the fulfillment of the pray-
ers of 80 Jewish gener-
ations. They bring the mes-
sage of the new era in Jew-
ish history into the homes
of members and worshipers
of all congregations. On the
threshold of the New Year
of 5738, it is our even great-
er responsibility to strength-
en the foundation and econo-
my and ensure the security
of the state of Israel."
Those synagogue and
temple committees who
have not yet received their
supply of JNF stamps or re-
quire additional amounts,
should phone the JNF of-
fice, 968-0820.
