Tennis Benefit Set

Yaakov Eden, Israeli folk
dance choreographer and in-
structor, will be in Detroit
Sunday, to conduct a work-
shop on authentic Israeli
dances, 7:30-11 p.m. in the
United Hebrew Schools audi-
torium.•
No experience is required
to attend the workshop, and
there is a charge.
In addition to the work-
shop. folk dancing is held
every Sunday at the United
Hebrew Schools Audito-
rium, sponsored by the
Folkdance Forum. Both Is-
raeli and international
dances are featured.

Plans will also be made for
a games night to be held
once a month.

Registrations, are now
being taken for the Tennis
and Crumpets mixed
doubles tournament to be
held Sept. 10-11 on 160
courts throughout Oakland
County. The fundraiser,
now in it's 11th year has
raised more than $300,000
for Children's Hospital of
Michigan. The tournament
is open to all players 18 and
over. There is a charge.
- Winners of the round-
robin style tournament will
compete at 6p.m. Sept. 24
for the Oakland finals in
four categories at the
Franklin Racquet Club.
Tennis star Rod Laver will
be on hand to present the
trophies to the winners.
Oakland county's winners
will advance to the Tennis
and Crumpets metropolitan
area Super Finals Oct. 1 at
the Downriver Racquet
Club.
Members of the Oakland
County committee include
Mrs. Harold Jaffe and Mrs.
Marshall Greenspan.
Those wishing to partici-
