Annual Brandeis Book Sale
Switched to Tel-12 Mall Locale

Greater Detroit Chapter,
Brandeis University Nation-
al Women's Committee,
will hold its 16th annual
book sale at a new location,
Tel-12 Mall, Southfield.
The sale this year will
take place Sept. 1-7 at the
mall, and there —will be a
preview 9 p.m. Aug. 31. Ad-
mission will be charged for
the preview. The sale will
continue during regular
mall hours.
Books in the following cat-
egories will be for sale:
art, biography, business
and finance, children's sto-
rybooks, children's liter-
ature, foreign language, his-
tory, humor, law, liter-
ature, medicine, mystery,
poetry, classics, religion,
- sports, hobby, travel and ad-
--venture, science fiction and
novels. Paperback books,
specialized magazines, re-
cords and sheet music also
will be available.
Unsold books are donated
to social service agencies,
hospitals and prison librar-
ies. Proceeds from the sale
support the Brandeis Uni-
versity' libraries.

Mosen and George Blum;

will present its annual sum-
mer donor luncheon noon
Wednesday at-Wabeek Coun-
try Club, Bloomfield Hills.
Donor contributions are
used to help support the
vast network of ORT
schools• in Israel and 29
other countries throughout
the world. More than 70,000
students are given vocation-
al and technical training by
ORT (Organization for Re-
habilitation Through Train-
ing). The Michigan Region
is comprised of 30 chapters
including one each from
Mt. Clemens and ' Ann
Arbor.
Entertainment will be pro-
vided by Norma Gold-
enberg and Abraham Ben-
Ze'ev, Israeli folk-singing
duo.
