Hebrew, York U.
Sign Agreement

TORONTO (JTA)—Presi-
dent H. Ian Macdonald and
Dean Sydney Eisen of York
University in Toronto, re-
turned recently from Israel
where they signed a formal
agreement with the Hebrew
University in Jerusalem.
The agreement provides
for continuation of the year
abroad program, funded
programs for Jewish stud-
ies, and exchange of stu-
dents and faculty between
the two universities.
The signing of the agree-
ment took place last month
in the office of President
Avraham Harman of the
Hebrew University.

I may do likewise.
"Those scoffers who are
of this opinion are wrong in
both points. Number one,
Jim is sincere in his con-
version to Judaism, and I
imagine will practice it
faithfully. Number two, I
find it is not necessary for
me to change my faith. I be-
lieve•we are all children of
the Almighty, and if we live
straightforward lives w(
shoald have no problems be
tweer us.
"I want to get into
Judaism more and study as
much as I can about the cul-
ture and history and also
have the opportunity to
learn about the religion it-
self, but at no time have I
given any thought to con-
verting, and certainly not
for the intention of becom-
ing eligible to play in the Is-
raeli National League."
It hasn't been announced
as yet, but this writer has
learned from a reliable
source that Perry has been
signed for two more years
by Maccabi Tel Aviv.
