This year a new program
was instituted to acknowl-
edge chapters in Councils
for programming excel-
lence. Alexander D. Goode
AZA's program, which in-
volved educating the public
on the difficulties of being
handicapped won arr award
and entitles the chapter to
compete in the Inter-
national. The Great Lakes
AZA and BBG Councils'
BBYO Week and Member-
ship Programs earned a cer-:
tificate of merit entitling
the councils to compete fur-
ther.
David Levine was re-
elected chairman of the
Michigan Region BBYO
Board of Directors. Vice
chairmen returning for sec-
ond terms are Mrs. Robert
Ellis and Mrs. Philip Edel-
heit.

neer Women and Israel
BOnds, and her husband
was active in Jewish
causes.
A celebration is planned
in honor of the couple who
will be in Detroit in August
to attend their grandson's
Bar Mitzva and meet with
relatives and friends.
Their children are - Dr.
and Mrs. Milton (Mae)
Goodman and Mr. and Mrs.
Norman (Ruth) Gosman.
The senior Gosmans have
eight grandchildren.

a hit at a luncheon or buf-
fet.

1/2 stick margarine
8 ozs. cottage cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 cup applesauce
4 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Cook noodles according
to package directions.
Drain and rinse, then com-
bine with rest of in-
gredients.
Grease a 9x13-inch pan.
Pour mixture into pan and
bake at 350 degrees for
about one hour. Serves 8-
10.
