THE HOFFMANS

Among the ways the Hoff-
mans support the JNF is by
filling their Blue Box, a tra-
dition which they have
taught their children and
grandchild.
According to Dr. Hoff-
man, "Every time we take
a trip, we put money in the
box in thankfulness for a
safe journey. We place in
the box sums ranging from
$5 to $20, depending on the
length of the trip. For in-
stance, a trip to Chicago
means $5 in the pushke ; to
Florida, $10; to Israel or
London, $20.
"On every occasion we re-
member JNF and our chil-
dren follow our footsteps.
We've even taught our two-
year-old granddaughter
Amy Lazar, to put money
in the box after a trip."
