In Monday's Board of
Education elections, the fol-
lowing candidates were

Hills; Donald Cohen, Nath-

'Sherman, Southfield; 7ar-
bara Robinson, Sharyl Lub-
bers, West Bloomfield
In Bloomfield Hills voters
approved a 9.25-mill renew-
al for five years for school
operations, and voters in
Southfield approved an 8.75-
mill renewal for seven
years.

UJA Women Cited

NEW YORK—The nation-
al United Jewish Appeal of-
fice has announced several
appointments and pro-
motions occuring in its
women's divi§ion.
Eve Weiss has been ap-
pointed assistant executive
vice chairman, Rena P. But-
ton, national director; and
Marilyn Brown and Mrs.
David Steine, co-chairman
of the women's division.
