Richardson, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Manufacturers National Bank of Detroit and Manu- facturers National Corp., is participating in the 1977 Na- tional Bankers DOegation to Israel, under the aus- pices of State of Israel Bonds, being held through Sunday. The delegation members are guests of the Israel government, by invitation of the Min- istry of Fi- nance. Richardson and his wife, `----ttichardson Barbara, have joined a group of 15 bankers and industrialists from all parts of the United States, in a week-long look at Israel from a banker's viewpoint. Meeting with government leaders and central figures of the Is- raeli banking industry, the delegation is investigating Israel's economic potential, and discussing possible solu- tions to the country's most crucial economic problems. The delegation will also have the opportunity to per- sonally meet with religious le-iders of all faiths and be escorted to historical sites and shrines in Jerusalem and elsewhere throughout Israel. Banks and other in- stitutional investors account- ed for more than one-quar- ter of the $311 million in Is- rael Bonds sold nationally in 1976. Inge Kramer El ected President of Metro Detroit Hadassah Inge Kramer recently was installed as president of the Metropolitan Detroit Chapter of Hadassah. Mrs. Kramer has been group president of two groups, University East and Heights, and was an area vice president of the lo- cal chapter. She also was president of Sholem Aux- iliary of the Jewish War Veterans, board member of Sisterhood of Cong. Shaarey Zedek and member of the regional youth commission of Hadassah. The for- est was established to mark their golden wedding anni- versary. Their daughters, Mrs. Don Kaplan and Mrs. Al Taubman, came to Israel for the. dedication, which was attended by many rela- tives who live in Israel. The Kolodneys have been members of Cong. Shaarey Zedek for 45 years and the daughters established three scholarships in the Shaarey Zedek Religious School in honor of their parents. The Kolodneys were mar- ried in Windsor and have lived in the Detroit area for over 48 years. They both came from Russia and Mr. Kolodney lived in Israel for three years.
