He said. that Deib Abu
Mash-Eil, on the West
Bank, 25-35 kilometers east
of Tel Aviv, was invaded by
a group of armed persons
in uniform every night
since March 18, 1977. The in-
vaders fired into the air,
smashed windows and
broke doors. Later, the villa-
gers discovered that the at-
tackers were border guards
wearing green berets and
that they were under the
command of "Captain
Morris." • .
The attackers made
known their demands—they
wanted to intimidate the in-
habitants to give up their
cultivated lands for the pur-
pose of establishing "a mili-
tary base," Grossfeld
claimed.

Wash. State OKS
Anti-Boycott Bill

SEATTLE (JTA)—The
Washington State legisla-
ture has approved a bill pro-
hibiting compliance with
the Arab boycott of Israel.
The bill was approved in
the state capitol at Olympia
on June 1 and Gov. Dixie
Lee Ray is expected to sign
it into law later this month,
making Washington the
ninth state in the U.S. to
adopt anti7boycott legisla-
tion.
The move follows t
unanimous passage of It:,
anti-boycott resolution by
the Seattle City Council on
May 18.
David Stahl, regional di-
rector of the Anti-Defama-
tion League of Bnai Brith,
pointed out that both - ac-
tions were the result of
promptings by the local
Jewish community.

"The only man who never
makes a mistake is the man
who never does anything."
