Mr. Weisz lived 43 years in De- troit. A kosher butcher, for- merly located at Linwood and Calvert Ayes., Mr. Weisz retired 15 years ago. He also was a member of the Hebrew Benevolent So- ciety. Abraham Segal, Jewish Educator NEW YORK (JTA)- Abraham Segal. a distin- guished „educator of Ameri- can Reform Judaism and the immediate past director of the Department of Educa- tion of the Union of Ameri- can Hebrew Congregations. died May 24 at age 66. He became a member of the UAHC staff in 1965 as the director of adult and teacher education. From 1935 until his move to New York. Mr. Segal earned a leading reputation as both a secular and Jewish educa- tor in the school systems of Philadephia. For 30 years he served as a teacher of English and Shakespeare in various Philadelphia high schools, as an instructor at Gratz College and as a leading participant in the city-wide activities in the Board of Jewish Education.
