Obituaries -

Joseph Farkas,87

Joseph J. Farkas, a mem-
ber of Flint's Cong. Beth Is-
rael, died May 22 at age 87.
Born in Hungary, Mr.
Farkas resided at 1220 Gar-
land. He is survived by his
wife, Anna; a sister, Mrs.
Clara Israel of Los Angel-
es; and nieces and neph-
ews.
