Under the supervision of the Council of Orthodox Rabbis

ported as being unable to
find employment because of
his age and Sabbath obser-
vance, has found a full-time
job. Grossman began his
new job as a full-charge
bookeeper last week at the
Metro Passbook office in
Southfield.
After almost four months
of job hunting after being
graduated from the Pontiac
Business Institute, Gross-
man visited Sharon Knop-
pow, job developer with the
Berkley School's Commu-
nity Placement Center.
Mrs. Knoppow managed to
secure a position for Gross-
man at the Metro office
through the Comprehensive
Employment Training Act's
On the Job Training pro-
gram.
Grossman was hired
through the program be-
cause he lacked book-
keeping experience even
though he successfully com-
pleted his bookkeeping
courses.
Grossman is the last per-
son in his graduating class
of 20 to find a job.
