and civic leader, Maxwell
Jospey, "for his years of ef-
fort on behalf of the RJA."
Dinner chairman Harold
Samlyo, a past president of

Rabbi Alexander M. Schind-
ler. Union of American
Hebrew Congregations pres-
ident. will make a presenta-
tion to Jospey.

The dinner will conclude -
the campaign for' RJA
which has been taking
place in communities
throughout Michigan.

The RJA helps support
the ongOing programs of
the UAHC.

Alan S. Miller. son of
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Miller
of Lake Park Dr.. Birming-
ham. has been awarded a
Fulbright Scholarship to
Macquarie University in
New South Wales. Austral-
ia. Miller received a BA de-
gree in government from
Cornell University in 1971.
While there he was a mem-
ber of the Varsity Debate
Team, of the Intercollegiate
Track Team, of Quill and
Dagger Senior Men's Honor-
ary Society and Pi Lambda
Phi Fraternity. He earned
JD and master's degrees in
public policy studies at the
Universtiy of Michigan,
from which he was gradu-
ated in 1974.
At the U-M, Miller was
the law student liaison, a
member of the ABA Special
Committee on Environmen-
tal Law. chairman of the
Environmental Law Society
a Campbell Competition fi-
nalisi., and was granted, a
Ford Foundation Fellow-
ship.
