both factions after Likud
promised that all issues, in-
cluding cabinet appoint-
ments, were negotiable.
The DMC, which held its
first round of coalition talks
with Likud last week, was
angered that it was kept in
the dark about Begin's offer

miership for its leader, Yi-
gael: Yadin, a portfolio that

Likud's Liberal Party wing,
was slated for the job of
foreign minister in the next
government.
There was bitterness in
some Likud circles that

formed in advance by
Begin. Dulzin, who is treas-
urer of the Jewish Agency
and the World Zionist Or-
ganization and is expected
to be elected chairman of
the WZO and 'Jewish
Agency Executives, was
taken aback. He was pre-
pared to relinquish the top
WZO post to which he has
long aspired to become for-
