Soviet Jewry Group Sponsors Washington Rally on June 12

NEW YORK—Leaders
from Washington's political
scene will join hundreds of
representatives from Amer-
ica's Jewish and non-Jew-
ish communities at the Na-
tional Solidarity Sunday pro-
gram June 12 in Washing-
ton, D.C.'s Constitution
Hall. The evening's pro-
gram will coincide with
demonstrations in support
of Soviet Jews taking place
across the 'United States.

The Sunday program, co-
sponsored by the National
Conference on Soviet Jewry
(NCSJ), and the Jewish
Community Council of
Greater Washington will be
followed by the NCSJ Lead-
ership Assembly which will
take place June 13-14 in
Washington, D.C.
Meanwhile, the long
journey of former Soviet
Jewish Prisoner of Con-
science Lazar Liubarsky,

Association for New Ameri-
cans (NYANA) at the Har-'
monie Club.

initial resettlement assist-
ance to Soviet Jewish immi-
grants in the metropolitan.
