bers that Memorial Day
services will be held 8 a.m.
Monday at the Oak Park_
City Hall, 10 a.m. at Mach-
pelah Cemetery and at
noon at Hebrew Memorial
Park.

Ida Sarah Eliowitz, an
educator in the Detorit Pub-
lic Schools, died May 20 at
age 59.
A native Detroiter, Mrs.
Eliowitz was a 1939 gradu-
ate of Wayne (State) Uni-
versity with a master's de-
gree in education. She re-
tired in 1973. She was a
union organizer for the De-
troit Federation of Teach-
ers.
Mrs. Eliowitz leaves her
husband, Abraham; a son,
Samuel; two daughters,
Mrs. Jonathan (Susan) Hoo-
ver of Jackson and Mrs.
Leslie (Linda) Gorback;
her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Benjamin (Greta) Lachman
of WeSt Palm Beach. Fla.;
a brother, Julius Lachman
of Toledo, Ohio; two sis-
ters, Mrs. Albert (Lor-
raine) Perelman of Royal
Palm Beach, Fla.; and
Mrs.- Jack (Zelda) Pratt of
Mountainview, Calif.; and
five grandchildren.
