Technion-Israel Institute of
Technology, Ribicoff called
Israel Defense Minister Shi-

PLO. He said because of
that fear the three leaders
did not stop Syria's Hafez
Assad from sending in his
troops into the Lebanese
conflict.
In private conversations
with the Shah, Ribicoff cons
