Rabbi Solomon Kahane
will deliver the fourth lec-
ture in the Detroit Zionist
Federation's series,
mensions of Zionism, - 8
p.m. Thursday at .Cong.
Beth Shalom. Rabbi Ka-
hane will speak on "The Re-
ligious Dimensions of the
State of Israel."
Rabbi Kahane was gradu-
ated from Yeshiva College
and New York University
Graduate School. He was or-
dained at the Rabbi Isaac
Elchanan Theological Semi-
nary at Yeshiva University.
He held the pulpit at the
West Side Jewish Center in
New York, was chaplain at
Gracie Square Hospital and
Mental Institution and is an
instructor in Mishna and
Jewish law at the James
Striar School at Yeshiva
University.
Rabbi Kahane holds mem-
bership in the Rabbinical
Council of America, Bnai
Brith and the Religious Zi-
onists of America. He is a
frequent coritributor to Ju-
bilee magazine and is on
the editorial board of Beth
Yitzchok.
