Affairs Associate of the Jew- -
ish Community council.
Mrs. Gladstone will be
professional staff person for
two major standing com-
mittees of the Council: the
Culture Commission and
the Committee on Inter-
national Concerns.
For the past two years,
Mrs. Gladstone has been
the staff aide to Congress-
man James J. Blanchard
4D-18th District). Pre-
viously, she was employed
as political adviser to the
Detroit Federation of Teach-
ers.

al president of the Labor Zi-
onist Alliance, and Bayard
Rustin, national president
of the A. Philip Randolph
Institute and the director of
Black Americans in Sup-
port of Israel Committee
(BASIC), will sperik on the
"Common Concerns of the
Black and Jewish Commu-
nities" 8 p.m. Wednesday
at Temple Emanu-El.

This event is the culmina-
tion of a series of meetings
during which the two
groups formed 'a coalition
to work toward common
goals in the local area. The
two groups have partici-
pated in a voter-registra-
tion drhie and a prbtest of
the Abu Dauod. release.
They are presently involved
in a campaign to promote
support of federal full-em-
ployment legislation.
