Stolz's fame continues due to the efforts of his widow, Mme. Einzi Stolz, who accepts invitations to various countries, where Stolz's music remains very popular. The cassettes pre- senting Johann Strauss works, conducted by Robert Stolz were recently re- leased and are already on the best-seller lists in Eu- rope, USA, Canada, Austral- ia, Japan and Israel. May 2-18 there will be a Robert Stolz festival in the St. Wolfgang spa in Austria. Stolz was an honorary citi- zen of St. Wolfgang, be- cause of his music to the op- eretta "the White Horse Inn." The St. Wolfgang citi- zens are naming a prome- nade and are setting up a monument after him. Anoth' er unveiling of a Stolz mon- ument will take place in the West German spa Baden- Baden, where he composed the popular song. "In Front of My Father's House There Stands a Linden Tree." This June National Bel- gian Television will feature a concert of Stolz works. In the fall, Stolz's great dream of presenting Her- Mann Bahr's well-known play, "The Concert," with Stolz's incidental music will be realized in a world pre- miere in Vienna.
