on international cooperation
in fundraising, United Jew-
ish Appeal Executive Vice
Chairman Irving Bernstein

reported on his visit to the
South African Jewish com-
munity. Bernstein joined
Baron Elie de Rothschild of
France and Tel Aviv Uni-
versity President Professor
Chaim Ben-Shachar of Is-
rael in a campaign opening:-

JNF Joins Project
for Georgia Trees

NEW YORK—Under the
joint sponsorship of the city
of Atlanta, the state of
Georgia and the Jewish Na-
tional Fund, 1,500 trees will
be planted in what will be
known as the .-Urban Memo-
rial Forest, which will beau-
tify the 1-85, 1-75, and MO
hub interchange between
the stadium 'and the state
Capital on Memorial Drive.

Bnai Brith met in Rome
this week with representa-
tives of two major Vatican
bodies concerned with Cath-

the Vatican Commission for
Religious Relations with
