Mrs. Frank was among the past presidents of Ha- dassah who served on the board of governors of the campaigner. and was an active campaig ner. Among the notable pio- neers of Hadassah in De- troit is Mrs. Ralph (Sally) Davidson, the oldest living past president. Before her presidency of the Detroit Hadassah she was active in the Zionist Organization of Detroit, then the Detroit Zi- onist District of the Ameri- can Zionist Federation, and served as secretary of._ the Zionist District when Dr. A. Of nostalgic interest to Detroit Hadassah members, which came to light this week, is a note about the local Hadassah's beginning struggles for support of their cause: It was Dora Ehrlich who started rummage sales on 12th St. A project under- taken for a short time, and the idea came from Mrs. Herman (Evelyn) August, who brought this fund-rais- ing scheme from Chicago. Last week's Detroit Ha- dassah story inadvertently omitted the name of Mrs. Julius Meskin, president of the Huntington Woods Group. In addition, Mrs. Saulsoti is Mrs. Saul Saul- son. • SUMMER FASHIONS Arriving Daily • Come In for Fantastic Savings Naomi UPPals Advance Fashion Ltd.
