Out-of-towners will love
Sundown...but localites wel-
come it much more...for
one reason...because they
can go oftener.
If you haven't been there
yet, give Sundown a
try...you're sure to go back
again and again.
RENAISSANCE Ballroom
-at Detroit • Plaza has been
booked for this year's City
of Hope, Detroit Business-
men's Group Dinner-Dance,
Oct. 13...This could be the
biggest affair ever held by
the Detroit Businessmen's
Group...The Renaissance
ballroom is really some-
thing to see...let alone the
Detroit Plaza it-
self...Although the City of
Hope affair is seven months
away, don't be surprised if
reservations begin coming
in early...Not too many
people will want to be left
out this year.

Sincerely With Their Many Friends
and Customers

A Very
Happy Passover

We thank you for your
gracious patronage . . . and
most sincerely
wish the very best
in health, joy and
prosperity to all

should take precautions
when seating people now
that the non-smoking areas
are law for eateries with 50
or more seating...If it is
crowded and people ask to
be seated in the smoking
space, they might be able
to sue if taken sick...on the
premise of being put in the
wrong sector...unless there
are witnesses to this
request or it is in writing.
NOVEL IDEA at Sail. Inn
and adjacent Port Hole
Lounge on Telegraph and 10
Mile "(former - Post Office
Inn)...With food order, soup
price is according to the
date...from one penny up,
depending on the
month...For example, soup
today is one cent because
it's April 1.
Sail Inn is an all-you-can-
eat restaurant...and Port-
Hole , Lounge next door has
hors d'oeuvres, sandwiches,
saladg', beer and liquor, and
evening entertainment
Wednesday through Satur-
day.
NAME THE SIZE lob-
sters you want and Joe
Bird at Crabbie Joe's on
Michigan in Dearborn will
get them for you...Party of
eight guys 'n gals with big
appetites ordered ahead for
three pounders and made
short work of them.
"Herman The Boss" is in
the lobster tank at Crabbie
Joe's...with "Herman" writ-
ten on his back...and his
claws reading, "The Boss."
These without reserva-
tions will be blanked out of
Joe's Stone Crab Nites,
April 20 and 21...The stone
crabs are being flown in
from Miami.
JOHN YOUNG and his
Fior d' Italia restaurant on
12 Mile and Northwestern,
is giving all the profits
from pizzas, Monday, to
crippled 'children...Will be
from lunch at 11 a.m. 'till
11 p.m. closing.
WONDER WHY nobody
has opened an all dairy (no
meat or poultry) restau-
rant?...There is a big want
for one...It could be kosher,
too, with the products ap-
proved by rabbinical coun-
cil...and only one stove
would be needed.
DON'T BLAME Bronca
Lucas and the Raleigh
House because Liza Minelli
didn't put on a cocktail
show Wednesday or
Thursday nights...It was not
as she said on stage
Wednesday evenbing about
nobody telling her of only
one show (known as pass-
ing the buck)...and apol-
ogizing to the applause
from a tired-of-waiting au-
dience. -

Productions out of Chicago
