Stollman to Lead Israel Bonds'
Inaugural Dinner for Jerusalem

The inauguration of 1977
Metropolitan Detroit State
of Israel Bonds lay lead-
ership will be held at a com-
munity-wide Inaugural Din-
ner. under the auspices of
the National Honorary So-
cieties of Israel, April 27, at
Adat Shalom Synagogue.
The event will be the
kick-off of this spring's Is-
rael Bond effort toward
commemorating and sup-
porting economically Is-
rael's capital city on the oc-
casion of Jerusalem's 10th
anniversary as a re-united
city.
Merrill Gordon, Israel
Bond's new general chair-
man, announced that Phil-
lip Stollman has accepted
the role of chairman of the
10th Anniversary Celebra-
tion.
Stollman is a founder and
continuing member of the
Prime Minister's Club hon-
orary society sponsored by
the State of Israel.
He is also a leader of the
Allied Jewish Campaign,
Sinai Hospital and Shiffman
Clinic and the Jewish Wel-
fare Federation. He is glob-
al chairman of the board of
Bar-Ilan University.

"By combining the inau-
guration of our 1977 officers
with a commemorative and
historical ceremony cele-
brating the Jerusalem anni-
versary we will be demon-
strating to the community
our prime target in this
spring's campaign: the con-

A REASON"

The Akiva Hebrew Day
School Kindergarten stu-
dents have created their
own haggada, using relief
paintings of scenes from
the Passover story.
The children made a
three-dimensional model of
the Seder table which can
be used as a centerpiece at
their own Seders.
The school will have a
model Seder in which fami-
lies will participate
Tuesday, sponsored by the
kindergarten class.
