For over thirty-five years, families
have been relying on Planters Oil
for all their.Kosher cooking.
On Passover and all year through.
They like it because it's pure, light and
polyunsaturated. So the true taste
of the food comes through. Try
this traditional Passover recipe
and see what we mean. Cook it with
Kosher and Parve Planters Oil.
And Happy Passover.

PASSOVER CHOCOLATE
CHIP COOKIES
Makes about 5 dpzen cookies
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 /2
cup Planters Peanut Oil
3 tablespoons water
1 cup chopped semi-sweet chocolate
'2 cup chopped pecans
2 teaspoons grated orange peel
VI teaspoon salt
2 cups matzoh meal
—
Matzoh meal
Beat eggs and sugar together until thick and
lemon colored; beat in Planters Peanut Oil
and water until blended. Stir in chopped
chocolate, chopped pecans, orange peel'and
salt. Stir in 2 cups matzoh meal until well
mixed. Let batter stand for 10 minutes (it
will thicken as it stands). Drop batter in 4
strips (each about 12-inches long by 11/2
inches wide) on baking sheets that have been
oiled and lightly dusted with matzoh meal.
Bake in moderate oven (375 °F.) about 20
minutes, until a pale golden brown. Remove
from oven; immediately cut each strip into
about 15 (-3/4 inch wide) diagonal slices.
Remove slices from baking sheets and
allow to cool.
