PHILADELPHIA—
Among the organizations
that belong to the Feder-
ation of Jewish Agencies in
Philadelphia, more than 50
percent have more women
on their boards of directors
than they had five years
ago. according to a survey
just released by the Phila-
delphia chapter of the
American Jewish Com-
mittee.
The survey findings have
been published in a pamph-
let titled "Bringing Women
In. - available from the
AJC office, 1612 Market St..

missed, nothing is really
quite as satisfying as an
income tax refund.

Trade Balance
Not Improved

TEL AVIV (ZINS) --
The economic writer for
Haaretz writes that Is-
rael's "miraculous" $800
million decrease in the
balance of payments de-
fecit in 1976 was due to a
12 percent decrease in the
importation of military
supplies.
He also said that re-
serve supplies were used
to avoid new imports and
that the deficit did not ac-
tually decrease since pro-
duction did not increase.
