Featured participants will be Temple Israel's Cantor Harold Orbach and bass- baritone McHenry Boatwright. The two have performed together frequently since their appearance together in 1969 at the world pre- miere of Dave Brubeck's jazz cantata, -The Gates of Justice," commissioned by the Union of American Hebrew Congregations. Boatwright attended the New England Conservatory in Boston, earning two de- grees in piano and voice. He is the winner of many awards, including two suc- cessive Marian Anderson prizes. Since his debut with the New York Philharmonic with Leonard Bernstein, Boatwright has starred with the San Francisco, Philadelphia and Hamburg State Operas. He has sung for the late Presidents Eisenhower and Kennedy and most recently at the inaugural of Presi- dent Carter. Boatwright has appeared on many television pro- grams, including the Ed Sul- livan Show, the Today show and with Mike Douglas.
