Israeli Changes

TEL AVIV (JTA) — The-
American- F-15 jet fight-
ers that Israel has bought
from the U.S. will embody
changes suggested by the
Israel Air Force that will
improve the plane's per-
formance, informed
sources disclosed. They
said that the U.S.Air
Force was seriously con-
sidering incorporating
these changes into its
own operational F-15s
Israel ordered 25 of the
planes from the Mcdonnel
Douglas Corp. Three were
_delivered in December
and the rest, with the re-
quested changes, will be
delivered late this year
and in 1978.
The U.S. is said to ex7
pect additional orders for
the" F-15 but the Israel
Air Force prefers to wait
for the F-16 which is more
advanced and cheaper.
