Sheila Ordin and Ma-
rian Shifman were among
the nine women honored
Tuesday "for outstanding
volunteer service at the
10th annual Heart of Gold
Award Luncheon in Cobo
Hall.
Nearly 2,000 metropoli-
tan area residents at-
tended the event, which
was co-sponsored by the
Heart of Gold Award
Council and Women for
the United FOundation
(WUF).
Guest speaker at the
luncheon was Dr. Joyce
Brothers, noted
psychologist, columnist
and radio-TV personality.

terpreting Judaism to the
non-Jewish community,
