Yeshiva Students
Take Mexico Trip s

NEW YORK — A total
of 16 students of the
Prospect Park Yeshiva
High School for Girls, lo-
cated in Brooklyn, N.Y.,
spent their two-week
inter-session period in
Mexico City working with
Mexican high school stu-
dent groups in order to
bring them closer to their
Jewish heritage and a re-
ligious life style. .

The visit to Mexico City
is a winter extension
the SEED project, sp
sored by Tora
Umesorah, the National
Society for Hebrew Day
Schools, which for the last
three summers has in-
itiated summer schools
for higher Jewish studies
in North and South
American communities.
The project included
sight-seeing as well as in-
tensive programming to
bring appreciation of
Torah studies and Jewish
values to students in
Mexican Hebrew day
schools on a high school
level.
