Libby L. Greene Libby Lena Greene, an active member of Chicago-area Jewish or- ganizations, died Feb. 1. Born in Russia, Mrs. Greene lived most of her life in Chicago. She was a vice presi- dent of Hapoel Hamiz- rachi, past president of Lechem Loaniem Au- xiliary, past presideint of Makarov Ladies Au- xiliary and a board member of the Lin- colnwood JeWish Congre- gation, Mother's League for the Hebrew Theologi- cal College, Yeshiva Wo- men, Skokie Valley Hadassah, Yeshiva Chuma Lublin and Bnai Jacob Congregation. She is survived by two sons, Sidney of Lin- colnwood and Howard of Wilmette, Ill.; four daughters, Mrs. Harry (Edythe) Futterman and Mrs. Morris (Fritzi) Gans, both of Lincolnwood, Mrs. Elliott (Ruth) Schwarz of NewJersey and Mrs. Earl (Margie) Ruby of Birmin- ghain; and 16 grandchil- dren.
