Miss Rice is one of five students enrolled in the university's Young Scholars • Enrollment Program, the only early college entry system of its kindrin Michigan. According to Dr. Otto Graf, director of U-M's honor program and coordinator-counselor for YSEP, only 11 students have participated in the program so far, and there have been no "washouts."
