Chaim Herzog, Israel's Ambassador to the Un- ited Nations, has decided not to quit his post in order to run for office in the May 17 general elec- tions. . Meanwhile, the Inde- pendent Liberal Party suffered. a major blow w h en Hillel Seidel, one of four MKs, announced is leaving the ILP to join the Liberal.
