ing a shortage of teachers
for the developing areas,
especially those who can
teach English as a second
language. Other teachers
are also needed.
A special, five-month
retraining course, con-
sisting of a Hebrew ulpan,
will be held in the Haifa
Bay area beginning Sept.
1. Housing will be pro-
vided for teachers and
their families, and the
course will include a
five-week session on new
methods for teaching En-
glish as a second lan-
guage.
Persons completing the
course will be guaranteed
employment.
