who celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary
Sept. - 19, will join family
and friends this Month in
Miami for a continued
celebration.
The couple's children

Sklars have three grand-
children.
The couple are active in

A bowl of hot chili, some
crackers and a tossed
salad make a perfect meal
for a winter evening.

2 lbs. ground beef
2 tbsps. oil
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 #303 can stewed tomatoes
1 15-oz. can tomato sauce
2 to 3 tbsps chili powder
2 tbsps. white vinegar
1 tsp: salt
garlic powder to taste.

Brown meat, celery and
onion in oil in a dutch
oven. Add all the other
ingredients. Mix. Cook
covered for 35 minutes on
low heat. Stir occasion-
