Youth Discuss Effect of Cults LOU GORDON Temple Israel's Michi- gan State Temple Youth chapter will host the an- nual winter conclave of the youth organization today through Sunday in the temple. Theme for the weekend is "The Phenomenon of Modern Religious Cults." TV talk show host and columnist Lou Gordon will speak 8:30 p.m. today to the youth on "Cults as They Relate to Judaism." Saturday's program _include Shabat servic classes and workshop ses- sions that will probe the Children of God, Jews for Jesus, Hare Krishna and Unification- Church sects to determine their effect on Jewish youth.
