munity Center,_will show
films of Kibutz Bet 'Alfa.
He will accompany Shir-
ley Behar who will sing
Sephardic songs.

Tel Aviv University
Dental School opened its
recent school term with
24 students, it was
learned at the first meet-
ing of the Detroit Chapter
of The Friends of Tel Aviv
University Dental School
held in the home of Dr.
and Mrs. Sheldon Mintz.
Guest speakers in-
cluded Dr. 'ochanon
Ramon, dean of the den-
tal school, and Rabbi Av-
raham Soltes, public af-
fairs director of the
American Friends of Tel
Aviv University Dental
School.
Goals of the organiza-
tion include: using teach-
ing skills to help practic-
ing dentists in Israel; con-
ducting seminars for
American dentists in Is-
rael; arranging to bring
selected Israeli dental
teachers to the U.S. for
training in the latest
methods; and providing
equipment and fund to en-
able the school to train de-
ntal students and expand
its program of continuing
dental education.
Attending the first
meeting of the Detroit
Chapter were Drs. Eli
Berger, Howard Chazen,
Simon Cook, Arthur
Freedman, Joseph Jacob-
son, Alden Leib, John
Marx, Ronald Michael-
son, Larry Mintzer, Jerry
Morof, Mike Myrowitz,

staff as assistant execu-
tive director. Leo comes
to Detroit from West
Orange, N.J.
From 1965 to 1968 Leo
worked at Montclair.
State College in New Jer-
sey as assistant-professor
of education and director
of the college student
center. Prior to joining
the JCC staff he worked
for the YM/YWHA of
Metropolitan New Jer-
sey, first as director of
administrative services
and then as assistant di-
rector of administration
and special projects.
