ple, by The Opera Organi-

European composers
will be featured in the first
half of the program, and
American composers in
the second half. Songs
from George Gershwin's
"Porgy and Bess,"
Leonard Bernstein's
"Candide," Kurt Weill's
"Street Scene" and "Lost
in the Stars" will be per-
formed.
The Opera Organiza-
tion is a newly-formed
group of professional sin-
gers from Southeastern
Michigan. Conrad is a
noted coloraturo tenor.
The has appeared at sev-
eral Brunch With Bach
concerts at the Detroit
Institute of Arts and will
present an opera season
this summer.

niversary next weekend.
A congregational dinner
will be held 6 p.m. Jan. 7 at
the temple.
The dinner will be pre-
pared by women of the
congregation and partic-
ipants will include Rabbi
and Mrs. Milton Rosen-
baum, Rabbi and Mrs.
Lane Steinger and Can-
tor and Mrs. Norman
Rose.
During the service
which will follow the din-
her, Rabbi Roland B. Git-
telsohn of Temple Israel
in Boston will be guest
speaker.
Apresentation of thanks
to Rabbi Rosenbaum for
his 20 years of service to
the temple will be made at
the Friday night service as
well as presenting him and
Mrs. Rosenbaum a trip to
Israel.

sored by the sisterhood
will follow the service.
The joint Sunday
school will join the con-
gregation for a family
