Her father was chief rabbi of Szeged. A Holocaust sur- vivor, Mrs. Jungreis and her family came to New York after the war. She is the wife of Rabbi Theodore Jungreis of North Woodmere, N.Y., an Orthodox rabbi. She lectured to Jewish groups and held Bible luncheons and for more than 18 years has written her "Ask the Rebbetzin" col- umn in the New -York Jewish Press. Mrs. Jungreis has traveled all over the world. She organized a Madison Square Garden rally in New York, which drew 10,000 people and her Hollywood appear- ance attracted a crowd of 3,000. A hint: it tastes even better reheated. 1 1/2 lbs. ground meat 1 egg 1/3 cup bread crumbs 2 15-oz cans tomato sauce 1 1/2 cups water 6 tbsps. lemon juice 4 tbsps. brown sugar 1 cup shredded cabbage 2 medium onions, diced Mix meat, crumbs and egg. Form into meatballs. Mix tomato sauce, water, lemon juice and sugar. Heat to boiling, then stir. Reduce heat to low and add cab- bage, onions and meat balls. Cook over low heat, covered, for one hour.
