JNF Urges Buy
Trees for Hanuka
Mark E. Schlussel,
president of the local
Jewish National Fund
organization, suggested
buying trees for Israel
through the JNF as
Hanuka gifts.
"Trees benefit Israel in
a wide variety of ways,"
he said. "They give shade,
beautify the landscape,
furnish timber, conserve
the soil, prevent floods
and provide thousands of
jobs.
For information on
buying trees, call the
JNF, 968-0820.
