during Hanuka? This
cocoa bundt cake serves
12 and is moist and flavor-
ful. I recommend it for
your guests.

1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
1 cup butter
1 8-oz. package cream cheese
1 1 /2 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsps. vanilla
4 large eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 tsps. baking powder
1/4 cup miniature
chocolate chips
Combine the following ingre-
dients:
1 /4 cup sugar
tblsp. cocoa
1 1/2 tsps. cinamon
Grease a 10-inch bundt pan
very well! Sprinkle pan with nuts.
Mix butter, cream cheese, 1 1/2
cups sugar, vanilla and eggs until
fluffy. Slowly add flour and bak-
ing powder.
Pour one-half of the batter into
a bundt pan, then pour in one-
half of sugar-cocoa-cinnamon
mixture and all of the chocolate
chips. Pour rest of batter and rest
of cocoa mixture on top. Bake at
325 degrees for one hour or until
toothpick comes out clean. Cool
upright in pan 15 minutes and
remove.

Hanuka Celebration

The
Co-Operative
Council of the League of
Jewish Women's Organi-
zations will hold its
annual Hanuka celebra-
tion noon Thursday at the
main branch of the
Jewish Community
Center.
Rabbi and Mrs. Sol-
omon H. Gruskin have ar-
ranged for patients of
Clinton Valley Hospital,
Ypsilanti State Hospital,
Northville State Hospi-
tal, Lapeer Hospital,
Plymouth Training
Center, and Wayne
County General Hospital
to attend. Order of the
Eastern Star members
will provide transporta-
tion for those in private
homes, half-way houses,
and nursing homes to at-
tend the event.
Entertainment will be
provided by Cantor
Hyman Adler, Hal Gor-
don and Max Sosin.
Chairmen of the day
are Eve Gordon and Net-
tie Deutch. Hanna Lin-
den and Sheila Ordin are
responsible for securing
and wrapping Hanuka
