THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS Levin Library Record Printed The central library committee of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan has published the proceedings from the dedication of the Theo- dore Levin Memorial Lib- rary in the Federal Build- ing a year ago. The Levin Memorial Foundation raised more than $30,000 to finance a suitable tribute to the late judge. Judge Levin served for many years with distinc- tion on the Federal bench . Rossen Wing of the new Life Sci- ences Building at Bar- Ilan University was dedi- cated at a ceremony in the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Rossen and mem- bers of their family. Speaking at the cere- mony, Rabbi Hayim Donin said that Mr. and Mrs. Rossen had joined the select band of men — "Yichidei segula" — who by their actions were helping to build up the spiritual strength of the Jewish people. Prof. Kurt Stern out- lined the work being done in the wing, which houses the laboratories of some of the most senior faculty of the Department of Life Sciences. Mr. and Mrs. Rosser' unveiled the plaque, and Mrs. Genevieve Portner and her daughter cut the ribbon. Phillip Stollman, chair- man of the Board of Trus- tees, presided at the luncheon following the dedication.
