Arts Council Seeks Michigan Artists

A major effort to dis-
cover Michigan's artists
is now under way by the
Michigan Council for the
Arts. Directed by the In-
stitute for Social Re-
search of the University
of Michigan, the study in-
volves inquiry forms
which have been sent to
25,000 persons across the
state. Persons engaged in
music, dance, theatre as
well as in the visual arts
are being contacted.
