Honey cake symbolizes
our aspirations for a
"sweet" year of good for-
tune. Many people, how-
ever, do not like the plain
honey cake, thinking it
too dry. This cake, utiliz-
ing fruit, should over-
come that objection and
prove popular with all.
1 stick margarine
3 eggs
2 tsps. baking soda
3 cup flour
1 cup' honey
1 cup sugar
I cup orange juice
Y2 cup apricot jam
I medium apple, grated
'/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup chopped dates
Mix margarine and eggs. Add
baking soda, flour, sugar, orange
juice. Mix on slow speed. Add
honey and stir in remaining in-
gredients. Bake in lightly greased
bundt pan at 350 degrees for one
hour.
