Israelis Teaching
in U.S. Schools

NEW YORK —
Seventy-four Israeli
teachers were engaged in
Jewish schools in the
United States during
1975-76 through the Ex-
change Visitors Program
of the American Associa-
tion for Jewish Educa-
tion.
The program, which the
AAJE administers under
authorization of the U. S.
Department of State,
placed the teachers in
full-time positions at both
the elementary and sec-
ondary levels.
