at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.
The lecture will conclude the 1976 Intercongregational Adult Education
Institute. It is a gesture of support from the parent institute of the Conser-
vative Movement, the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.

Strike Also Affects Kosher Meat Dealers;
Seek to Provide Community With Supplies

A strike that has shut
the local slaughter
houses for three weeks is
seriously affecting the
kosher meat supplies, it
became apparent this
week.
Allen Cohen, president
of the Detroit Area
Kosher Meat Dealers As-
sociation, informed The
Jewish News that only
one beef house is not on
strike because the con-
tract with the internal
slaughter house workers
in that house will not ex-
pire for two months.
From this unaffected beef
house comes the major
veal and lamb supply for
kosher meat consumers
at the present time, he
pointed out.

will be solved soon, but if

Seeks Pianist

The Senior Adult
chorus of the Jewish
Community Center is
looking for a pianist to ac-
company it on a volunteer
basis.
The Senior Adult
chorus meets 11 a.m.-
noon every Wednesday,
at the 10 Mile Branch,
as well as performing for
various Jewish com-
munal functions. Good
sight reading skills pre-
ferred.
