Before the outbreak of ABRAM SALOMON World War II, he was ac- tive in the Zionist move- ment in Poland. He held a Master of Laws degree from the University of Warsaw. He served as general secretary of the Zionist Federation of Australia and New Zealand and had been a correspondent for the Australian Jewish Press. He visited and wrote about the displaced persons camps in Ger- many. He came to the U.S. in the early 1950s and con- tinued his involvement in the Zionist movement. He was a vice president of the Zionist Organization of America, a member of its national executive committee and adminis- trative.,. board, an execu- tive member of the American Zionist Feder- ation and a member of the World Jewish Congress, American Section. - Marvin Barnett Marvin Barnett, re- tired owner of Peggy's Bloomfield Fashion Shop, died Oct. 10 at age 66. Born in Pontiac, Mr. Barnett was a ladies ready-to-wear clothing executive. He was a life member of the Pontiac Elks, a member and former treasurer of Tem- ple Beth Jacob of Pontiac and a member of the Op- timists Club. He resided at 6761 E. Knollwood Cir., West Bloomfield.
