fashion show, 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, at the Labor
Zionist Institute.
Clothes will be modeled
by members of the vari-
ous chapters of Pioneer
Women.

Miss Strausz was
graduated from Eastern
Michigan University
with a BS degree in -edu-
cation. Her fiance was
graduated from EMU
with -a- degree in market-
ing.
A late fall wedding is
planned.

Join JNF Campaign
Leading Jewish wo-
men's organizations in
Greater Detroit will par-
ticipate in the semi-
annual Jewish National
Fund Blue Box Clear-
ance, which will continue
through Nov. 14, accord-
ing to Betty. Silverman,
Blue Box chairman.
Among organizations
taking part in the clear-
ance of the 5,000 Blue
Boxes in the Detroit area,
are: Hadassah, Pioneer
Women, Northwest Child
Rescue Women and the
Fanny Gluck, Sisters of
Zion and the Batya Chap-
ters of Mizrachi. Many
youth groups, especially
the AZA and the BBG
chapters of the Bani
Brith Youth Organiza-
tion, will take part in the
clearance. This year, as in
the past, there will be a
concentration . on the
search of "lost" Blue
Boxes.
The Blue and White
Box was inaugurated 75
years ago, when the
Jewish National Fund
was established. Since
then the Blue Box has
provided funds for the
purchase of land, first in
alestine and then in Is-
rael.
