such bodies as the World
Health Organization, the
International Labor Or-
ganization and the Un-
ited Nations Education,
Scientific and Cultural
Organization after a
one-day conference.
Among the particip-
ants were Nobel Prize
winners Prof. Christian
Finsen, Werner Fors-
mann, Andre Lwoff, and
Carl Cori, labor leaders,
including the vice presi-
dent of the AFICI.0, Al-
bert Shanker, and writers
and philosophers such as
Simone de- Beauvoir and
Herbert Gold.
